The Acadia Bay Inn offers an iconic backdrop for your Maine wedding. Whether you’re a Mainer, hosting a destination wedding, or planning an intimate elopement, you and your guests will love celebrating in Downeast Maine.

We host a limited number of weddings each year so we can customize them and make each wedding a dream come true.

We are a venue only so you can select all of your favorite vendors.

    • An iconic backdrop for your wedding ceremony (and photos!)

    • Multiple options for ceremony, cocktails, and reception locations.

    • Historic indoor spaces for getting ready, rain plans, or smaller weddings.

    • Accommodations for up to 14 guests (including the couple).

    • Full property buyout, including all guest rooms, grounds, and common spaces.

    • Breakfast each morning for guests staying on-site.

    • On-site day-of coordination support.

    • Connections to top-tier local vendors.

    • A welcoming, inclusive environment for all couples, including LGBTQ.

  • All wedding parties are required to have the following:

    • Insurance: Event insurance and a security deposit are required. We are happy to make a recommendation for event insurance.

    • Day-Of Coordinator: Trust us, you’ll want one! We will help coordinate everything related to the venue, but a Day Of Coordinator (or full Wedding Planner) will make your weekend so much better. We are happy to provide local recommendations.

    • Full Weekend Buyout: You will have exclusive use of the property from Thursday afternoon through Sunday morning. You and your guests will be glad to have the extra day. If you’d like to book longer, that can be arranged.

    • Licensed caterer & bartenders: We are a venue only, so your caterer will need to bring their own setup. There are some fantastic local catering options.

    • Deposit: We require a signed contract and 50% deposit in order to reserve your date.

  • Venue fees range from $5,000-$8,000 based on wedding size and season.

    Rooms are billed separately and can be paid by the couple or by guests.

    Elopements range from $1,500-$4,000. Reach out for more details on our elopement packages.

  • We host a very limited number of weddings each year, so please reach out with your requested dates. We are accepting bookings for 2027 & 2028.

  • We want to partner with you from day one to make sure your wedding is a dream come true.
