History

The Acadia Bay Inn has been hosting summer visitors seeking out the beautiful, restorative nature of Downeast Maine since 1888.

Designed by world-class architects Jarvis Hunt and W. Ralph Emerson, the inn has been thoughtfully maintained by generations of stewards, upgrading the building to meet modern standards while maintaining its historic charm.
